Today the New Zealand Institute of Economic Research Incorporated (NZIER) has released its 2021 Summer Reading List for the Prime Minister.

The broad theme for our list this year is the issue of intergenerational equity which essentially views the human community as a partnership among all generations. From an economics point of view, it means policies need to be designed not just for the current generation but also generations yet to be born. which undertakes economic research and thinking aimed at promoting a better understanding of New Zealand’s important economic challenges.
The list was prepared as part of the NZIER Public Good programme, which undertakes economic research and thinking aimed at promoting a better understanding of New Zealand’s important economic challenges.
