James is a Senior Research Fellow (Associate Professor level) and Director (External Relations) at the Centre of Policy Studies, Monash University.
His research is in development and application of large-scale multi-regional and national computable general equilibrium (CGE) models, he has over a decade’s experience in applying such models to historical, forecasting and policy analysis. He has developed and delivered training courses in static and dynamic CGE modelling in Australia, Germany, the Philippines, Brazil, Italy, Vietnam, Poland, the U.S. and South Africa.
James has diverse commissioned research experience, having completed over a hundred research projects, reporting to private and public sector organisations, both nationally and internationally. A long CV is available here.
