Christina joined NZIER in February 2015. She heads up Membership Services, where she looks after NZIER’s economic forecasts and analysis of our Quarterly Survey of Business Opinion.
She has over ten years’ experience in the public and private sectors, having worked at the Reserve Bank of New Zealand and ASB Bank. At ASB Bank, she led the quarterly forecasting process, produced regular commentary on key economic and industry developments, and provided guidance to both internal and external clients on the economic outlook and financial market developments.
Christina holds a Bachelor of Commerce with first class honours in Economics from the University of Auckland, and has been a CFA charter-holder since 2010.

NZIER’s Monetary Policy Shadow Board’s view on the Official Cash Rate (OCR) continues to be firmly on no change ahead of the Reserve Bank’s Monetary Policy Statement on Wednesday.
NZIER has been asked by the Ashburton District Council to assess the Ashburton labour force, and to develop a Labour Force Plan that addresses labour shortages.
