Angela Bull has been appointed to the NZIER Board.
Angela is currently the Chief Executive of Tramco, the Auckland-based property investment company, and was previously General Manager Property Development at Foodstuffs North Island.
“Angela brings great strengths to the Board”, said Michael Walls, Chair of the NZIER Board. “She has a rich, multi-disciplinary background that covers law, property development, retail and change management. She will bring fresh perspectives to our Board, and we have every confidence that she will make a strong and immediate contribution.”
NZIER CEO Laurence Kubiak was also delighted at the appointment. “This is somebody who really understands strategy and leadership, someone who has risen swiftly in a highly competitive and challenging sector. I am very much looking forward to working with her”.
Angela Bull grew up in Auckland, and is a graduate of Auckland University. Her earlier career was in the law, at Simpson Grierson and Chapman Tripp. She joined Foodstuffs group in 2006 and became GM Property Development in 2008. She has been CEO of Tramco since February 2016.
“Appointing Angela strengthens NZIER’s ties to the Auckland-based commercial world, which has been a growing market for NZIER since we established an office there two years ago”, continued Walls. “Angela’s standing within that market and the rich experience she brings to the table make her an excellent addition to our board.”
