Philippa Miller Moore
Senior Economist
Since joining NZIER in July 2021, Philippa has worked on a range of projects that address digital transformation, digital inclusion, and cyber-security, as well projects that consider the wider impact of innovation and productivity in New Zealand. She has also completed projects on aged care, health funding, and tourism.
Before joining NZIER, Philippa worked in the corporate sector, which included the finance, professional services and health sectors, in central and local government and on economic development projects in the Pacific. She also worked with not-for-profits on strategy and organisational change.
Philippa volunteers as a mentor to small businesses and social enterprises to help them take agency to identify and achieve outcomes. She is the Chair of the Auckland Citizens Advice Bureaux (ACABx) Board.
