Recent Projects
Peter writes NZIER’s weekly column in the National Business Review. This provides a clear and concise analysis of the latest statistical releases and economic news. Data selection and interpretation are used to ensure the results are tailored to the target audience. Peter has written on such diverse subjects as growth, employment, inflation, construction, tourism and the global economy.
Review of foreign prosecution servicesThe client wanted to know about the strengths and weakness of alternative prosecution models that could be implemented in New Zealand. We undertook an extensive review of foreign prosecution models, constructing result and cost effectiveness measures. We compared seven different models, using criteria such as characteristics, efficiency and governance. That allowed us to determine the relative benefits and costs of changing the public prosecution service.
