Christina joined NZIER in February 2015. She heads up Membership Services, where she looks after NZIER’s economic forecasts and analysis of our Quarterly Survey of Business Opinion.
She has over ten years’ experience in the public and private sectors, having worked at the Reserve Bank of New Zealand and ASB Bank. At ASB Bank, she led the quarterly forecasting process, produced regular commentary on key economic and industry developments, and provided guidance to both internal and external clients on the economic outlook and financial market developments.
Christina holds a Bachelor of Commerce with first class honours in Economics from the University of Auckland, and has been a CFA charter-holder since 2010.

There is some division amongst NZIER’s Monetary Policy Shadow Board over what the Reserve Bank should do with its Official Cash Rate this Thursday, but on balance the Board recommends a 25bp cut.
