Peter O'Connor

Peter joined NZIER part-time in May 2009 to enhance NZIER’s Quarterly Survey of Business Opinion dataset.

He has a Bachelor of Commerce and Administration with Honours from Victoria University of Wellington, specialising in economics and finance. Since graduating he now works on membership services and continues to analyse the historical data of the Quarterly Survey of Business Opinion.

While studying Peter has spent time at The Treasury working on the reporting of tax expenditures in the New Zealand context. He has also tutored first and second year undergraduate courses at Victoria University in statistics and public economics.
